New Texas Car Insurance System
Not having Texas Car Insurance can bring you all kinds of trouble. There are people around who have Texas Car Insurance, and have had their insurance for a very long time. Then we have people who don’t carry auto insurance at all. And finally there is another group of people who think they can beat the system, but not for long. Some people are just paying the first moneth of their Texas Car Insurance, just to have the 6 month card sent to them and then they turn around and cancel their coverage. Some people aren’t even getting the proper coverage, just as long as they have their insurance cards if they were to be pulled over. Begining in January 2008 there is going to be a new system launched to check drivers Texas Car Insurance. Officers are going to have a computerized database in their squad cars that can electronically tell if a driver has current Texas Car Insurance. This system has proved to be 99% accurate. There are other states already using a database similiar to Texas’s, and they have reported a 50% decrease in people stopped without auto coverage. So, driver’s beware. If you are not covered by a Texas Car Insurance Company now, you had better hurry and get covered. Another reason to get coverage and stay covered, the longer you go with out auto insurance, the higher your premiums are going to be. Oh, and a word to the wise, if you are one of those people who just purchase the one month coverage to get your card, this same database system is going to be used when you register your car and get your car inspected.
