Pay Per Mile Texas Car Insurance?

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

Wouldn’t it be great if there was an oil company that offered an all you can drive program, where you paid one monthly fee and got as much gas as you could drive, no matter how much or how little you drove that month? I don’t see that happening anytime in the near future, but some Texas Auto Insurance Companies are trying out a new pay-per-mile policy. This would benefit the driver’s you drove less back and forth to work, but it could also drastically raise prices for those of us you drive 60+ miles a day back and forth.

Some people are also fighting to get insurance rates included with the cost of gas to cut down on the uninsured motorists. There are people that will break the law and drive their cars without Texas Car Insurance, but in order to drive your car you MUST have gas. So if the insurance fees were added to the price of gas, of cource the gas would go up, but you would be covered by Texas Auto Insurance.

Statistics show that women drive less than most men, so if Texas Auto Insurance companies came out with the pay-per-mile program, women would be saving money in the end.

Drive Less, Pay Less?

Wednesday, November 21st, 2007

Consumer’s are paying too much for Texas Car Insurance? Do you agree? What if there was a new system coming out, that changes the rates for good driver’s and driver’s that have a good driving record? Right now, your Texas Car Insurance premiums are based on your income, if your married or not, your level of education, what you do for a living, whether or not you own your home, and your credit score.  Your premium will also be higher if you are a young driver, the type of car you have, and your driving record. Some companies are going to announce in the future that their rates are going to decrease more than 25%  to the “best” drivers. The less you travel to and from work or school also has an impact on your premium. Which also means the less you will be driving annually.  This plays another factor on lowering Texas Car Insurance premiums. As 2007 comes to an end, start shopping around to find the best Texas Car Insurance rates for you. You might be surprised how much money you will be saving.
